“So what was the trick to getting their picky eaters to not only try something new, but something healthy?  The recipe for the Yum, Yum Dumplings comes from Stacey Antine’s new cookbook, “Appetite for Life.” It’s yet another cookbook that promises to make kids happily eat healthy.  At a time when a recent study shows that half of the people in 39 states will be obese by 2030, what could be more important than that?  The specific recipes are not the key, according to Antine, a registered dietitian and the founder of Healthbarn USA, a seven-year-old organization in Wyckoff that teaches kids and their families hands-on about healthy eating.  She says the approach, which is also addressed in her book, is what’s paramount.”
